Seth Kushner passed away on May 17, 2015 after a long battle with cancer and complications from his treatments.

Let me hit you with some truth and love. Seth Kushner -father, husband, son, friend, photographer, writer- is gone but will never be forgotten. He lives on through all of us. Any time we look at one of his breathtaking and unmistakable photographs. Any time we read one of his comics. Any time we talk to one another.

I’ve had the privilege to call Seth a friend. I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with him. I’ve enjoyed every moment we were in each other’s company.
I’ve enjoyed every moment I ever spent with Seth Kushner. There are not many people I can say that about. He was a relentless optimist.

His portraits exude that quality.
